Specifications include, but are not limited to: Vendors will provide occupational medicine services and/or drug and alcohol testing services, outlined in the objectives, to multiple County departments. Vendors must have at least one clinic within Twin Cities seven-county metropolitan area. Departments will have the ability to customize exam components and screenings based on job duties and exposure. Vendor will conduct a client onboarding meeting with each department to develop protocols and discuss business requirements related to occupational medicine and/or drug and alcohol testing. Department specific protocols will include account contact information for both the vendor and department, specific occupational medicine exams and services, method for reporting exam results, and billing procedures. Departments must be able to edit their protocols for adding future services not defined in “Attachment A Occupational Medicine List of Services” and “Attachment B Drug and Alcohol Testing List of Services.” Vendors should provide the ability to schedule or request occupational medicine appointments via phone call or online request. Vendors should be able to coordinate and schedule department requested out of town or out of state occupational medicine preplacement exam components and services and drug testing services. Vendors will locate board certified occupational medicine providers or drug and alcohol testing service providers that are able to perform requested components within two business days of request. Vendors will coordinate medical record reporting from the provider to the department contact, maintain a copy of the medical record, and include cost of sub-contracted services in regular department billing process. Vendor shall define if fees will be based on vendor pricing or out-of-town clinic pricing. Vendors must be able to comply with data privacy and confidentiality requirements in all written and verbal communication. Vendors must ensure medical documentation provided to the employer meets data privacy requirements including encryption or other secure methods as required by law, regulation or policy.
