Specifications include, but are not limited to: The New Orleans Public Belt Railroad Commission for the Port of New Orleans (“NOPB”) is soliciting bids for the following work at the New Orleans Public Belt Railroad Claiborne Yard in Orleans Parish, Louisiana (the “Project”), as set more fully in the General and Special Conditions and the Plans: Install temporary erosion control (contractor furnished material). Clearing and grubbing including legal disposal of removed material. Fill existing ditches with granular material (contractor furnished material). Remove and legally dispose of drain pipe. Remove and legally dispose of chain-link fencing. Remove and legally dispose of concrete pavement. Remove and legally dispose of light poles including fixtures and wiring. Excavation and legal disposal of excavated material. Place crushed stone for loop roadway (owner furnished material). Furnish and install geotextile fabric (contractor furnished material). Furnish and install geogrid (contractor furnished material). Furnish and install drain line including sheeting, drainage fabric, bedding and backfill (contractor to furnish sheeting, drainage fabric, granular backfill and pipe)(owner to provide crushed stone bedding). Furnish and install drop inlets (contractor shall furnish drop inlets). Place and compact sub-ballast (owner furnished material). Install turnouts (owner furnished material). Install track including placement of ties, rails, and other track materials (owner furnished material). Surface track including placement of ballast (owner furnished material). Furnish and install track end treatments (owner furnished material).
