Specifications include, but are not limited to: The goal of the Academic Support Coordinator is to design and begin to implement a process to support students to be successful in dual enrollment and to design ways for families to understand and support their students in the dual enrollment process. 1. Biweekly meeting with the facilitation team. 2. As needed, collaborate with the Marketing Professional who also serves under this grant (separate contract) particularly around revising existing processes and procedures for sharing dual enrollment information to ensure families have the clearest information possible. 3. Design a process for students to continue to receive support. 4. Meet with students and families to provide direct support to ensure families understand dual credit offerings, opportunities to earn postsecondary credit, procedures to enroll students, and procedures to claim credits. Outcomes: Develop a plan for continued student support while in dual enrollment classes and begin implementing the plan. 1. Design a student support plan to assist students who are not meeting benchmarks for their dual enrollment courses. 2. Design and implement an annual survey of students and parents on dual credit courses so that the information can be used to identify ways to address any existing discrepancies and to prevent further discrepancies from developing.
