Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Public Safety requests bids for One (1) Portable Field Armory Unit for Firearms and Ammunition Storage for the Hawaii Community Correctional Facility (HCCC). The offeror is responsible for freight delivery to Port of Hilo, Hawaii, OR if Offeror is on-island, then to the specified delivery point. The armory shall be in brand new condition, and Offeror shall be responsible for the armory to be delivered to the Port of Hilo (or if Offeror is on-island, to the specified delivery point) intact, defect-free, and undamaged condition. The armory will be placed outdoors, and must be weather resistant to Hilo, Hawaii climate. The interior must have adequate lighting. The Portable Field Armory Unit for Firearms and Ammunition Storage for the Department of Public Safety shall meet all the specific requirements listed below: 1. Portable firearms storage container/field armory: a. Class 5 GSA-approved container or equivalent standard b. Forced entry protection Federal Specification AA-F-363 or equivalent standard c. Corrosion-resistant coating certified as C5M grade coating ISO 12944 or equivalent d. Meet or exceed Naval Surface Warfare Center specification NSWC 3046- 93-2 or TDS-2078-SHR or equivalent. e. Bullet Trap/Clearing Barrel f. Internal ammunition locker for 3000 rounds with padlock hasp g. Dehumidifier, 120V AC h. Size ranges between 50' to 150' square feet of floor space i. Strongpoint lifting brackets. j. High-Security lock hasp for exterior door. k. Internal workbench approximately 30" x 60" 2. Internally mounted firearms storage racks with padlock hasps for: a. (10) AR-15 rifles. b. (12) Remington 870 shotguns c. (2) Sig Sauer handguns d. (2) Defense Technology (DEF-TEC) 37mm Gas Guns 3. Container anchor brackets for mounting on concrete. 4. Freight to Port of Hilo, Hawaii
