Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4.1. The proposals should include itemized pricing so the selection committee can select individual items, or alternatives, or the entire package. 4.2. Each proposer may submit up to two (2) proposals. i. Furnish materials/stall panels only including shipping to the Hutchinson Zoo ii. Furnish materials/stalls panels and installation/construction of stall panels in the service barn at the Hutchinson Zoo. 4.3. Acceptable fabrication material: General surfaces must be water resistant and washable; Walls should have, at a minimum, be solid on the lower half; Mesh may be welded wire (size?), vinyl-coated mesh, slats of wood or Trex decking materials. 4.4. Proposals must include a thorough description of all materials proposed. 4.5. The footprint of the renovation area is 40’ x 32’. A sketch of a possible design is attached to the RFP. 4.6. Demolition of existing stalls will be performed by the City of Hutchinson 4.7. Installation/Construction hours will be limited to Monday through Sunday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. 4.8. All proposals must include a not to exceed amount for all necessary design work. Hourly rates for design work should be clearly indicated. All design work will be billed hourly based on the rate provided in the proposal and shall not be in excess of the not to exceed amount. 4.9. All questions concerning this Project during the RFP solicitation process shall be forwarded to the Project Manager listed above. Any questions about the meaning or intent of this RFP or its requirements are to be submitted in writing to the above Project Manager, not less than three (3) days prior to the date of opening. If deemed necessary all questions thus submitted will be answered by written addenda issued to all prospective Proposers. Oral or other interpretations or clarifications will be void, without any legal effect, and do not bind the City. 4.10. Proposers shall be solely responsible for all costs of preparing and submitting the Proposal. The City is not liable for any costs incurred by a Proposer.
