Specifications include, but are not limited to: CVWD’s Engineering Department is requesting formal proposals from consultants to prepare final plans, specifications, right of way research, cost estimates, and construction bid phase assistance for the Sunbird Mobile Home Park and the Torres-Martinez Community Center located along Avenue 66 and Martinez Road in the unincorporated area of Riverside County located south west of the City of Coachella. The Project work scope includes utility research, survey, potholing, right-of-way research and acquisition of necessary pipeline easements (including preparation of legal descriptions and plats), geotechnical services, identification of alternatives and preferred pipeline alignments, final design documents, specifications, cost estimates, and permits for: 1. Proposed offsite improvements include a new sewer lift station, 14,100 linear feet of 8-inch and 10-inch diameter gravity sewer pipeline along portions of Echols Road, Ave 66, and Martinez Road. The 10-inch gravity main will connect to CVWD’s existing 18-inch sewer system along Polk Street via an existing 12-inch VCP stub out. This system is expected to include 50-manholes. 2. A new sewage lift station would be constructed east of Sunbird Mobile Home Park, along Echols Road and Harrison Street just north of Avenue 66. From there, 1,300 linear feet of 6-inch diameter force main would be constructed along Harrison Street towards Avenue 66 to connect to the 8-inch gravity main. 3. The design effort needs to include onsite improvements and laterals needed to convey flows from the Sunbird Mobile Home Park and Torres-Martinez Community Center to the offsite sewer main. Approximately 1,175 feet of onsite pipelines for Sunbird Mobile Home Park and approximately 3,100 feet for Torres-Martinez Community Center to connect to the offsite sewer system. Onsite improvements also includes abandonment of 25 septic tanks.
