Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The bidder shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, and insurance to transport and install on an existing foundation a rental cabin at Lovewell State Park. 2. The cabin dimensions are 16 ft. in width, 39 ft. in length with 8ft. sidewalls and a 4:12 roof. Overall height of the cabin from base to roof peak is 13’6”. 3. The cabin is located at Neosho County Community College, 800 W Fourteenth ST, Chanute KS 4. The cabin will be transported to Lovewell State Park Kansas and placed on an existing foundation located within Lovewell State Park. (GPS 4416817.00 m N 581761.00 m E) Total estimated travel distance is 300 miles. 5. Awarded bidder shall be required to visit the site location at Lovewell State Park, a minimum of one week prior to the installation of the cabin. 6. The awarded bidder will review, with the project coordinator, the site and any possible problems encountered. 7. The contractor shall notify the project coordinator two weeks in advance of the target date to move the cabin. 8. The winning contractor shall coordinate with, Neosho County Community College to schedule loading and transportation. 9. The contractor shall be responsible for the installation of the bottom mud plate seal. Flashing, and tie down straps bid as additional cost. These items will be provided by the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks, and Tourism. 10. The contractor shall be liable for any incidental damages to the cabin in transient or during loading and unloading. All repairs must be accepted by the project manager or his designated agent. 11. The contractor shall provide proof of in transient insurance coverage payable to the owner. 12. The winning contractor will submit copies of proof of insurance, KDOT approved route, with all applicable permits to an address that will be supplied a minimum of one week prior to transportation of the cabin. 13. For site plans, inquires or general questions, bidders can contact the procurement officer, who will coordinate with KDWP to answer any questions.
