Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of Maine System (UMS) is seeking responses to develop a list of Respondents offering fiber optics professionals willing to support requests from UMS to provide the services defined in RFP Exhibit A. The resulting agreement(s) will be developed to support various geographic areas and/or based on fiber optic services offered. Respondents must meet minimum requirements of providing technicians which hold credentials as a Certified Fiber Optic Technicians through the Fiber Optic Association, to be considered for award. Once the agreement is in place UMS from time to time will reach out as fiber optics and/or underground copper services are needed, at that time you will have the option to accept or decline offering the services.
