Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide materials, equipment, and labor necessary, including excavation with shoring in accordance with Des Moines Water Works (DMWW) Rules and Regulations and OSHA requirements, installation, backfill, compaction, dewatering, testing, surface restoration, cleanup, and miscellaneous associated work, to complete installation of approximately 37 feet of 6-inch polyvinyl chloride water main, 938 feet of 8-inch ductile iron water main, 2621 feet of 8-inch polyvinyl chloride, and 10 feet of 12-inch polyvinyl chloride water main, connect to existing mains, install appurtenances and water service transfers, disconnect mains to be abandoned, and remove old surface facilities.
