Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Brush Cut / Excessive High Grass Service. This service is generally required when the City initially receives properties, these properties have not been maintained or mowed for a number of years, and the grass is uniformly taller than eighteen (18”) inches. Charges in this category require pre-approval by the Asset Manager assigned to the property. Work on these lots shall include: 1) Removal of all foreign material. Materials to be removed include, but not limited to: wire, metal, rocks (1” diameter minimum), glass, paper, cardboard, tree branches, construction debris, etc. Please notify the City if the amount of debris and trash exceeds three (3) thirty (30) gallon standard trash bags for a routine cut. NOTE: All foreign material as a result of mowing will be removed from the site by the mowing crew immediately upon completion of the site. Mowing over trash will result in a correction notice, and up to termination of the contract. 2) Grass cut. Uniform grass cutting to a height of three (3) inches. Cutting shall include all grass areas from curb to edge of property line. 3) Edge Trimming. With a string trimmer, lawn edger, or similar equipment, Contractor shall trim along all sidewalks, buildings, fences, trees, and similar areas on the property. 4) Cleanup. Contractor shall leave site in clean condition. Grass clippings on sidewalks and parking lots shall be blown or swept into grassy area, not into the street or down the storm drain. b.
