Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide Mental Health Assessments and Psychological Evaluations statewide to children and adults referred by CWS. Services shall be designed to assist the DHS in making appropriate service referrals for CWS families as well as with case direction, which may include court proceedings. CWS-contracted service provider staff from the Voluntary Case Management (VCM) Services contract and the Family Strengthening Services (FSS) contract may also directly refer clients for these services as well. Referrals from VCM and FSS may only be accepted if there are sufficient resources to fully meet CWS service demand. Other services include: 1. Interpreting the results of the assessments and evaluations for clients and CWS, VCM, and FSS staff, as requested; 2. Providing consultation on mental health and psychological issues regarding cases to CWS, VCM, and FSS staff, and to other professionals involved in their cases; and 3. Supporting CWS staff who have been or may be traumatized doing CWS work. The Provider shall provide: 1. Mental Health Assessments to CWS, VCM, and FSS children and parents, 2. Psychological Evaluations to CWS, VCM, and FSS children and parents, 3. Consultations to CWS, VCM, and FSS children and parents, and to CWS, VCM, and FSS staff, and 4. Trauma Support to CWS Staff, as described below.
