Specifications include, but are not limited to: All damaged or missing framing members that are noted in this report shall be removed and re-installed to meet the minimum standards of the 2021 IRC. All existing framing members that are not damaged or missing are not required to be upgraded to meet the current codes. All plumbing, HVAC or electrical that are located such that the installation of the new framing members cannot meet notching or hole requirements shall be relocated as necessary. Since the original gypsum concrete was removed from the top of the 1/2"subfloor, and the 1/2" subfloor is not adequate to support the applied loads from the floor, a double layer of 3/4" tongue and grove plywood will need to be installed so that the stair risers will remain uniform. Firewalls between units are currently 1 hour and are assembled as follows: (See also Appendix 2) 1. Gypsum Board: 1 layer 5/8" Thick Gypsum Board (Type X) 2. Wood Studs: 1 layer 2" x 4" Wood Studs, staggered, 8" O.C. 3. Insulation: 1 layer 3-1/2" Fiberglass insulation
