Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Nevada Purchasing Division, on behalf of Conservation and Natural Resources, State Parks is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to support the development of a statewide outdoor recreation historic context for the State of Nevada as described in the scope of work and attachments. Development of a statewide outdoor recreation historic context to enhance and refine the previously developed asset inventory that was completed as part of the 2022-2026 SCORP, following the white paper developed by Barbara Wyatt, “Components of a Historic Context: A National Register White Paper”, 2009). Consultant to research and develop the background history, relevant context, time frames, geographic areas, appropriate themes, relevant property types, physical characteristics, and integrity parameters to address potential local, state, and national significance related to outdoor recreation and the varying qualities and characteristics featured in the State of Nevada. This will likely include yet to be determined personnel, project management, facilitation, travel, equipment, potential interviews, analysis and report development, draft, and final document preparation. Development of a summary report of all the findings from the research conducted statewide by the to be determined consultant. Completed statewide outdoor recreation historic context developed in conjunction with and approved by Nevada Division of State Parks (NDSP) staff in a fully designed document including graphics, images, etc.
