Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this service is to specifically provide the targeted population a CBT program utilizing an evidenced based curriculum designed to address criminal thinking, which includes introduction to key concepts of CBT, role modeling, role playing and skill building activities that relate to criminogenic need. The criminogenic needs have been identified through the administration of the Level of Service Inventory-Revised (LSI-R). The services will include 2 groups , two- hour group sessions per week for 10 weeks equal to forty hours total, and 15- minutes/individual sessions. The 40 hours total include CBT and a component for Anger/Stress Management. Group size will be limited to 12 inmates per group (except for Halawa Correctional Facility Groups which may have up to 15 inmates per group).
