Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Project proposes to demolish an existing 1,000± square foot (SF) building that was constructed in the 1970s and replace it with a beachfront hospitality zone. A replacement building will be constructed to create a beachfront hospitality zone at Incline Beach. Features of this new facility will include food concessions, commercial kitchen space to support food concessions, a standalone bar pavilion for drink service, year-round restroom facilities sized to contemporary standards, outdoor showers, a shaded outdoor seating area, and adequate storage to accommodate operations. The new facility will also address access gates and vehicle access improvements. The new facility design must meet Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) design criteria, with specific attention directed toward scenic corridor requirements, Washoe County Planning and Building Department requirements, and be fully compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
