Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Clear sterile, non-fluorescing 150mL capacity polystyrene vessel with a 100 and 120mL fill line and tamper evident caps. b. Clear sterile, non-fluorescing 120mL capacity polystyrene vessel with a 100 and 120mL fill line and tamper evident caps. c. SBST-labeled shrink-banded vessels containing Sodium Thiosulfate that neutralizes up to 10ppm chlorine in a 100mL sample d. Each vessel must have 100mL fill line around entire circumference and accurate to +/- 2.5mL. This requirement complies with US EPA guidelines and makes filling easy and accurate without a pipette. e. Vessels must fit into existing (16.75”x13”x3.5”) incubator racks. f. Vessels must not require a change in the current (3.69”x2.25”x2.25”) packing and shipping kits. 4.7.1.Item 5 shall meet the following specifications: a .EPA approval for determination of MPN for total coliforms and E.coli using colorimetric and fluorescent detection. b. Testing system shall use the same reagents used to determine presence/absence testing. 4.7.2. Item 6 shall meet the following specifications: a. Reagents must have the ability to perform 18-, 24-, and 48-hour detection for total coliforms and E.coli in drinking water, ground water, and surface water by either presence/absence or count methods. b. Must be EPA approved for analysis using method 9223B. c. All testing time methods shall be able to detect 1colony per 100 ml sample. d. Testing system shall be independently validated. 4.7.3. Item 7 shall meet the following specifications: a. System must be compatible with Quanti-tray MPN testing system
