Specifications include, but are not limited to: The chosen and approved Recovery House(s) will work closely with the SCA, as well as with SCA contracted case management sites and providers to coordinate the funding for the eligible Montgomery County individuals residing at the Recovery House. Duties shall include but not be limited to: Provide a safe, sober environment for all residents with a trauma informed lens that supports diversity, equity and inclusion Provide drug testing at least twice monthly to all residents to ensure safety of the recovery house environment and its residents Applicant shall permit the use of Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) using one of the FDA-approved medications for the maintenance treatment of substance use disorder (methadone, buprenorphine/naloxone products/buprenorphine products including sublingual tablets/film, and extended release, long-acting injectable buprenorphine formulations and injectable naloxone). Provide one meal daily to all residents Post a schedule of chores and expectations to be completed by residents Maintain Unrestricted Recovery Housing License from DDAP Support residents in obtaining employment within 60 days of admission to recovery house Attend/participate in technical assistance opportunities hosted by ODA Post written policies and procedures regarding locked storage and distribution of all prescription and over-the-counter medications, including psychotropic medications Have all staff and House Managers trained in Narcan (Generic: Naloxone) use Store Narcan in all residences Narcan must be clearly labeled and available on all floors of the house Ensure residents follow recommended aftercare requirements from higher levels of care and allow residents to seek outpatient drug and alcohol treatment at the provider of their choice Ensure residents attend at least 3 mutual support groups per week Collaborate with ODA on subsidy termination arrangements for those individuals who are unable to abide by admission commitments Attend recovery house collaboration meetings held by the Montgomery County Office of Drug and Alcohol to be held at least once per quarter Inform Recovery House Coordinator within 48 hours of an SCA funded resident’s discharge from SCA funding Inform Recovery House Coordinator within 48 hours of an SCA funded resident’s discharge from the recovery house Collaborate with Recovery House Coordinator regarding client discharge planning from recovery house and recovery house funding Complete and submit Recovery House reports as directed by the Recovery House Coordinator and Performance and Planning Coordinator at the SCA Comply with DDAP procedure for reporting unusual incidents Send all unusual incident reports to the SCA within 24 hours for all SCA funded clients Comply with all DDAP and SCA monitoring requirements and inspections Support residents who resume substance use to seek treatment and agree to readmit residents upon the successful completion of their treatment. If a resident cannot be readmitted due to milieu concerns, the resident will be supported in finding placement in another SCA-contracted recovery house. Inform the SCA within 24 hours of change in status of recovery house licensure (receiving a provisional license, losing or surrendering licensure, or licensing a new residence)
