Specifications include, but are not limited to: Design the replacement requirements for HVAC mechanical equipment, associated components, piping, product selection, installation requirements, efficiencies, energy savings, etc. 2.2.2 Phases 1 & 2 are currently fully funded for design and construction. Phase 3 is currently funded for design only. Other potential phases may be grouped as described below or combined, separated, or cancelled dependent on funding. 2.2.2.1 Phase 1 - Campus chiller replacement at SPCC – provides all cooling to SPCC, AH, and UMOCA. 2.2.2.2 Phase 2 - Cooling Tower Replacement at SPCC – replacement and realignment of five existing cooling towers 2.2.2.3 Phase 3 - UMOCA Heating Isolation – converting from steam to hot water and isolating UMOCA from the central heating plant 2.2.2.4 Phase 4 - AH Heating Isolation – converting from steam to hot water and isolating AH from the central heating plant 2.2.2.5 Phase 5 - Remaining HVAC equipment replacement. This Phase may be broken up into additional phases depending on funding levels. 2.2.3 As this is a replacement project, County LEED requirements will not be expected. However, the A/E will need to meet all energy codes and requirements to achieve the highest energy rating and savings possible. 2.2.4 It is expected the HVAC systems will be commissioned by a third-party Commissioning Agent (CxA) hired by the County. A/E will be required to coordinate the design and subsequent construction administration with the selected CxA. 2.2.5 The Proposer shall provide prompt, professional service to the County on the outlined scope of work. The selected Proposer will be required to work closely with a designated Project Manager (PM) assigned to the Project along with agency representatives and others as determined by the County. Services for the Project will be determined by the County and may include but not limited to any of the services listed below. 2.2.6 Tasks to be Completed: For Phases 1 and 2 (design and construction) and Phase 3 (design only) and for each Phase added to the resulting agreement by amendment, the A/E will provide engineering, design, bidding, construction administration and warranty period services.
