Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide full Architectural and Engineering (A/E) design, permit support, solicitation support and construction support services for the proposed Nevada Department of Transportation (DEPARTMENT) Independent Assurance Laboratory (IA Lab) and development of the site. The project site is located on Dean Martin Drive at the northwest corner of the intersection of the Las Vegas Freeway (I-15) and Blue Diamond Road (APN number’s 17708499005, 17708499006, 17708499007, 17708499016). The site is currently being used by Kiewit Corporation for construction staging. The requested A/E services for the IA Lab building and site development include: i. IA Lab building design – Approximately six thousand five hundred (6,500) square feet. ii. Site Development – Civil improvements as required for the IA Lab building including utilities (water, sewer, sand-oil separator, electric and communications), site fire protection, fencing, NDOT standard security, access and event management system, surface grading, drainage, driveway access and parking. iii. Site Layout – The site shall be assessed with the objective of identifying usable spaces and strategically placing the lab building on the site. The goal is to maximize the remaining space for potential future uses that will be determined at a later date.
