Specifications include, but are not limited to: Perform soil classification and standard proctor tests in the lab. 2.2 Perform nuclear density tests on the project site. 2.3 Store, cure and perform compressive strength tests on concrete cylinders and flexural strength tests on concrete beams. 2.4 Perform testing as specified on asphaltic concrete mixes. 2.5 Provide qualified personnel, as directed by the City, for field testing of PC concrete for paving and structural work on federal aid paving and bridge projects. 2.6 Provide plant monitoring of PC concrete batch plants or ready mix plants on federal aid paving and bridge projects in accordance with applicable Iowa Department of Transportation requirements. This shall include all required documentation. 2.7 Provide field sampling and laboratory testing, plus report preparation for contaminated soils encountered during utility and structural excavations on City projects. 2.8 Other sampling and testing as directed by the City.
