Specifications include, but are not limited to: Develop and/or adapt existing Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) asthma self-management content that will support asthma educational instruction by health care providers in the clinic setting with adult and pediatric patients who have been diagnosed with asthma. Create artwork (graphics, images, etc.) to support the content designed in task one above. Artwork must be culturally relevant and sensitive to the 11 federally recognized Indian tribal governments in Minnesota. Each tribe is a separate sovereign nation with its own government – unique unto itself and distinct from all other federally recognized tribes. Design features and concepts need to be inclusive of cultural customs, regional differences, spirituality, and communication styles. Gather input and feedback on initial design concepts from various individuals such as the MDH tribal liaison, MDH Communications/Graphics staff, and other identified Minnesota tribal contacts that work closely with tribal Health Services supporting the medical care of tribal members who have asthma. Ensure all materials comply with the State of Minnesota’s IT Accessibility Standard, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and Section 508 which can be viewed at https://mn.gov/mnit/government/polilcies/accessibility. Meet with Department of Health staff to review materials and receive any feedback to incorporate into final versions. Responders are encouraged to propose additional tasks or activities if they will improve the results of the project. These items should be separated from the required items on the Cost Proposal.
