Specifications include, but are not limited to: Cooling towers and loops at 1900 Main and Kashmere BOF. Contractor shall perform the following bench tests (1) a month or more if required by extenuating circumstances. Contractor shall perform the following bench testing on the cooling tower water and appropriate make up: pH, conductivity, chloride, total hardness, and inhibitor levels. Contractor shall perform bench testing on chilled and hot water loops for conductivity and nitrite levels. Contractor shall perform bench testing on water softeners: total hardness. Contractor shall write a report on findings and recommendations including recommended chemical levels, cycles of concentration and chemical inventory. Contractor shall also calibrate any tower control mechanisms and feed systems. Contractor shall program any logical controls as needed. Contractor shall supply METRO testing reagents and supplies at no cost for internal daily testing. (Excluding conductivity meters). Chilled and Hot Loops, Wastewater Treatment Plants, Water Softeners at Operating Facilities. Contractor shall perform bench testing quarterly on the chilled and hot loops: conductivity and nitrite levels. Contractor shall perform bench testing quarterly on softeners total hard. Contractor shall perform visual inspection on wastewater treatment plants from a list provided by METRO project manager. Contractor shall write a report on findings and recommendations including chemical levels and chemical inventory.
