Specifications include, but are not limited to: develop creative proposals for public engagement, conceptual designs, and grant writing for key low-stress corridors (trunk lines), feeder routes, and other active transportation facilities. The following scope of work and deliverables represent minimum needs that proposals must address. The contract between SRTA and the consultant, including the Low Stress Shasta (LSS) scope of work, together, will serve as a master agreement and general authorization to (1) complete unfinished work authorizations (for ATP Cycle 7) carried over into this scope of work and to (2) create new work authorizations and complete their work for new local partner projects based on services outlined in this scope of work for future grant efforts (e.g., ATP Cycle 8 and beyond). At present, $400,000 in regional funding has been authorized for Phase 1 work (see diagram below). SRTA intends to apply for up to $700,000 in grant funding from Caltrans, which, if awarded and approved by the SRTA Board of Directors, would increase the number of projects to be completed for Phase 2.
