Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor will be required to inspect, test and repair, if required, fume hoods and/or fire suppression system equipment in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Fire Codes: i. NFPA 12A Halon Standards ii. NFPA 17 Standard for dry chemical extinguishing systems iii. NFPA 17A Ansul system (wet chemical) iv. NFPA 2001 Clean agent System maintenance and support is required for the installed fire suppression equipment and related components. Components will be repaired as needed or replaced if the component cannot be repaired. New or repaired components will be "backward compatible" with existing systems. Parts will be made available and scheduled for installation in a timely manner. Expected response time for emergencies is two (2) hours. Technical documentation must be provided upon request from the County, to include, but not limited to technical, service, and operational manuals at the County's request.
