Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1 Perform paint and bead quality assurance sampling at the qualified applicator’s location as required by the QMP or as requested by UDOT Central Materials. 2 Perform paint series testing as required by the UDOT Pavement Marking Paint Specification 02765 to include pigment, total solids, nonvolatile vehicle, binder, viscosity, and density. 3 Perform bead series testing as required by the UDOT Pavement Marking Paint Specification 02765 to include gradations, coating, roundness, color/clarity, refractive index, air inclusions, and chemical resistance. 4 Enter all results into the UDOT Materials Database. 5 Prepare monthly and year-end summary reports (# of samples tested, averages, failed tests by applicators, etc.) as requested.
