Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Phoenix is seeking contractors to provide full-service glass repair and replacement products and services to City departments on an as-needed basis. Various types of glass are needed such as windows, plate glass, tabletop glass, storefront glass, passageway door glass, shower door glass, skylight glass, frame components, mirrors, and other miscellaneous items. The requested products and services are critical to citywide facility operations. The Contractor shall: A. Have the ability to repair, remove, and replace the existing glass. B. Provide all labor, equipment, licensing, materials, tools, and travel necessary to complete the order. C. Provide labor for services such as resealing, and provide materials and labor to replace worn or missing seals. D. Provide labor for services such as installation of window tinting, graffiti guard products, and re-attach or replace trim/mullions as required. E. Provide glass scratch and etching removal services. 1. This service may be required when glass or other surfaces are scratched or etched, and it is the CDCR opinion that the graffiti or offensive matter may be removed through the application of sanding or polishing or other means commonly acceptable to the industry. 2. Use the expertise to determine whether a surface is appropriate for scratch and etching removal services. F. Provide specialty glass and installation products, including metal fabrication services when needed to match existing trim/mullions to repair or replace to a new appearance.
