Specifications include, but are not limited to: ODF will furnish the seedlings to be planted. Acres and target number of trees per acre for each planting unit are shown on Table II of this Exhibit A. The following stock types may be planted: a. 412A-415A/Styro 10 plug seedlings b. 512A-515A/Styro 15 plug seedlings c. 615A/Styro 20 plug seedlings d. Plug + 1 bare root seedlings e. 1-1 bare root transplant seedlings; The ODF reserves the right to substitute any stock types available to the Agency. 1.7 MATERIALS AND SERVICES FURNISHED BY ODF: a. Designated representative to administer Contract and represent ODF. b. Periodic inspection of work for compliance and certification of Contractor's work. c. Maps of planting units. d. An ODF employee to meet Contractor at designated delivery locations and provide seedlings. 1.8 MATERIALS AND SERVICES FURNISHED BY CONTRACTOR: a. All equipment necessary to complete the work specified in this Contract (i.e., planting shovels, planting bags, and two heat shield tarps with the minimum dimensions of 9’ x 15’.) b. All costs of equipment, operation, and transportation. c. A minimum of one crew per Work Area each day, as specified in the Work Crew Section, with an experienced qualified supervisor for the planting crew(s). d. All required safety equipment and training, including OSHA requirements. e. Designated representative to supervise Contract operations and represent Contractor. This foreman will be capable of communicating in English and the language spoken by the planters. f. Loading and transport of seedlings from designated cooler. Seedlings will be transported in a manner that protects them from wind and warm temperatures.
