Specifications include, but are not limited to: The SERVICE PROVIDER agrees to perform District-wide technical engineering services primarily by providing field level administration, general inspection, and testing services to ensure that District II Maintenance Contracts, District Contracts, Three (3)-Quote projects and other projects with minor scopes are accomplished in conformance with the plans, specifications, and all other contract documents. Some examples of typical projects may include repair or replacement of damaged guardrails, sound wall repairs, culvert cleaning and minor drainage repairs or improvements, roadway striping, concrete flat work including spall repair and sidewalk and curb ramp repair or replacement, concrete barrier rail repair, trash and debris removal, repair or replacement of highway lighting, and repair or replacement of highway signs. The SERVICE PROVIDER shall provide one (1) Assistant Resident Engineer, up to four (4) Inspectors and one (1) material tester, trucks, and cell phones. The Assistant Resident Engineer is considered “Key Personnel”. The SERVICE PROVIDER shall provide incidental equipment as may be required by the DEPARTMENT. The SERVICE PROVIDER shall provide all personnel assigned to these projects the proper safety equipment, including but not limited to, soft caps, hard hats and vests meeting the current DEPARTMENT standards for Work Zone Apparel. The SERVICE PROVIDER shall provide a principal engineer to act as Project Manager. The Principal Engineer shall be limited to billing no more than eight (8) hours per month unless prior approval for additional hours is obtained from the DEPARTMENT.
