Specifications include, but are not limited to: Outreach Partners will hire or designate one or more staff members to serve as Business Navigator(s) for the CO‐OP Program. (Please refer to Appendix A for the example Business Navigator job description.) Navigators should be out in the community creating new relationships with Opportunity Businesses. The Navigator role includes but is not limited to: Completing check‐ins as needed with the County CO‐OP Program Coordinator and Manager Actively conducting outreach to Opportunity Businesses within their community Talking with Opportunity Businesses about their challenges and resource needs Scheduling appointments with Opportunity Businesses Documenting required data and interactions with businesses into County provided databases Completing intake and business needs assessment with Opportunity Businesses Directly connecting Opportunity Businesses to appropriate services that address their challenges Scheduling meetings between Opportunity Businesses and Business Service Partners Attending meetings and appointments as required/needed with Opportunity Businesses Tracking Opportunity Businesses’ progress with connected services Following up with Opportunity Businesses to facilitate, assist, and guide them through completion of services Completing Evaluation Surveys with Opportunity Businesses to ensure their needs were met
