Specifications include, but are not limited to: Monthly planning sessions with DEED staff and monthly training and coaching of all participating schools. Districts/schools will receive support and guidance from PBIS trainers to help with the planning and implementation of their programs. The trainers, in collaboration with DEED, will set up a training and coaching schedule that will include direct contact with each school in the project. DEED will recruit the schools that are to be trained by the DEED hosted trainers and ensure that the goals of the PBIS initiative are adhered to. The goal of this project is to create experts in each school who can guide their processes as they work toward positive behavioral routines and procedures. Schools will be supplied with training materials to use with their staff for training purposes.
