Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Gallatin seeks to receive pricing for various concrete repairs and applications due to utility or other repairs made in the right-of-way. Price shall include traffic control if needed, stone, forming, pouring, and finishing. Any item that includes demo shall include price of disposal at bidder’s expense. Technical Requirements: o Concrete shall be TDOT Class “A” with minimum compressive strength of 3500 psi @ 28 days with fiber reinforcement. o Driveway ramps shall have 4” compacted #57 stone with 6” concrete. o Sidewalk shall have 4” compacted #57 stone with 4” concrete. o Sidewalk shall match existing finish. o Extruded curb and curb and gutter shall match existing. o Grass seed shall be Contractors Mix. o Integral Color applied according to manufacturer’s recommendation. o Clear Sealant applied according to manufacturer’s recommendation. • Joint Requirements: o Concrete expansion material shall be recycled rubber Expansion joints are required at: o At tangent points o Between curbs and sidewalks o Maximum length of 5 times width of sidewalk Transverse joints are required at: o Length equaling width of sidewalk. o Edges of joints shall be finished on one-quarter inch radii.
