Specifications include, but are not limited to: preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, and other engineering reports needed to construct a new bus maintenance facility to support the operations of the intra-terminal Wiki-Wiki bus service, and the rental car bus service. In general, improvements will involve the demolition of existing facilities and underground infrastructure within properties along Ualena Street; hazardous material abatement; possible environmental site remediation work; placement of new underground utilities inclusive of water, sewer, drain, electrical, and telecommunication systems; the construction of electric bus charging stations; the construction of a new bus maintenance garage; and the construction of other support facilities for the bus drives and other maintenance facility employees.
