Specifications include, but are not limited to: Days Creek Bridge The existing 4-span steel girder bridge with an open grate was built in 1952. The Days Creek bridge is structurally deficient and has a sufficiency rating of 24.2. The goal of this Project is to replace the existing structure with a structure that will restore access of legal and heavy haul loads to residents and landowners. The new structure will add length to accommodate the stream erosion pressure. South Deer Creek (Hatfield Truss) The South Deer Creek (Hatfield Truss) bridge was built in 1967 and has a sufficiency rating of 47.2 The South Deer Creek (Hatfield Truss) bridge is structurally deficient. The structure is considered “Category 1” historic. The goal of this Project is to replace the existing structure with a structure designed to current standards. South Myrtle Creek Bridge The South Myrtle Creek Bridge was built in 1961, has a sufficiency rating of 5.5 and is currently out of service. A detour bridge has been built adjacent to the structure to allow for traffic. The goal of this Project is to replace the existing 3 span bridge with a new bridge span bridge designed to current standards.
