Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Conduct an online Training course on Child Welfare Law and Practice which will be delivered in 2024. a. Offer Spring and Fall Session Courses. The exact start date is to be determined. Sessions will be around March/April or September). b. Each weekly session should be between 60 and 90 minutes, and the course will run 8 weeks in length. Course participants should have access to session recordings, course workbook(s), and course material until December 31, 2024. 2. Customized Mississippi Training (Development) – develop Mississippi child welfare law specific content three (3) 1.5-hour sessions) to work in tandem with the nationally focused framework of Child Welfare Law and Practice. a. Holding a two hour “incubator session” with Mississippi practitioners provided by MS DCPS to identify local child welfare law topics to be covered. b. Curriculum Development of three (3) 1.5 - hour online sessions. 3. Custom Mississippi Content (Delivery) – Deliver Custom Mississippi Content described above in (4) 1.5-hour online sessions (between May 2024 and December 2024; dates TBD). Course participants should have access to session recordings and session material through December 31, 2025. a. Mississippi Custom Content three (3) 1.5 - hour online sessions. (minimum 40 participants) 4. MS DCPS will request CLE approval for any of the training courses above. a. Provide MS DCPS with the materials in its possession that are required to gain CLE approval. In addition, the vendor will provide attendance records of live participants and on-demand recording viewers upon request by MS DCPS. 5. Child Welfare Law Certification – Provide Mississippi practitioners identified by MS DCPS the application to become Child Welfare Law Specialists (CWLS). This includes application, exam fees and educational material (i.e., hard copy book). 6. Provide Red Books available at a discount and ship to individuals/offices. The Independent Contractor will bill MDCPS on a monthly basis. Invoices submitted to MDCPS will include: 1. Name(s) of participants; 2. Courses completed; and, 3. Invoice amount
