Specifications include, but are not limited to: (1) analyzing energy usage data on municipal buildings provided by the City; (2) determining which municipal buildings should be targeted for energy efficiency audits based on energy consumption; (3) providing a proposal for energy efficiency audits at specific locations; (4) providing proposals for energy efficiency projects, solar installations and/or decarbonization projects; (3) maintaining close contact and coordination with ESD, Public Works, and City administration throughout the design, planning, and construction phases; and (5) engaging and supervising qualified subcontractor(s) that will perform the necessary renovation and/or construction work. Recommendations made through the auditing process should also include a consideration for any available financial incentives or financing opportunities available to fund the projects including, but not limited to, rebates, grants, government purchasing contracts, or other funding.
