Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Wet Pipe Sprinkler System: Automatic sprinklers are attached to piping containing water that is connected to an automatic water supply. Water discharges immediately from sprinklers when they are opened. Sprinklers open when heat melts the fusible link or destroys frangible device. 1. From the valve assembly, a wet-pipe fire sprinkler system is provided for all affected areas of the facility. B. Standpipe System: Automatic wet-pipe standpipe system, with Class III hose connections. Each hose connection has a 2 ½-in. outlet with a 1 ½-in. reducer. Automatic water supply shall be capable of supplying water demand to standpipe hose connections. Hose cabinets are not provided. Hose cabinets with Class I hose connections shall be provided to serve I3 occupancy spaces where required by Authority Having Jurisdiction. 1. From the valve assembly, a dedicated system/zone is provided for standpipe hose connections.
