Specifications include, but are not limited to: i. Remove and replace approximately 3,000 LF of timber barrier. NOTE: All new installation of timber barriers shall be calculated under Unit Price #1. ii. Cast in place or pre-cast one (1) Type C concrete end wall. iii. Remove approximately 1,970 LF of existing chain-link fencing and install approximatley1,970 LF of Trail guardrail. iv. Selective tree canopy and tree root pruning covered under Allowance #1. v. Remove and haul off site debris from three (3) culvert inlets ends , one (1) box culvert inlet end, one (1) inlet and approximately 5,000 LF of ditch line. NOTE: All costs associated with removing and hauling debris off site shall be calculated under Unit Price #2. vi. Milling of approximately 75,000 sq. yds. of existing bituminous concrete as directed by DNR Project Engineer, DGS Inspector and DGS project manager. NOTE: All costs associated with milling bituminous concrete shall be calculated under Unit Price #3. vii. Full depth patching of existing pavement as directed by DNR Project Engineer, DGS Inspector and DGS project manager. NOTE: All costs associated with full-depth patching shall be calculated under Unit Price #4. viii. Installation of wedge and level course of hot mix asphalt as directed by DNR Project Engineer, DGS Inspector and DGS project manager. NOTE: All costs associated with wedge and level shall be calculated under Unit Price #5. ix. Installation of 2 ” thick bituminous concrete overlay type “SF” surface course over approximately 132,000 sq. yds. of existing pavement. NOTE: All costs associated with bituminous concrete used to overlay the existing pavement shall be calculated under Unit Price #6. x. Installation of compacted structural fill. NOTE: All costs associated with compacted structural fill used in needed areas shall be calculated under Unit Price #7. xi. Backfill new pavement edges with CR-6. xii. Installation of pavement striping, painting, and signage to include the following: • 16” wide Painted Stop Bar (approximately 280 LF) • STOP Lettering at Fourteen (14) Road crossings. xiii. Vibratory plow approximately 30 miles along the north & south shoulders of the trail. NOTE: All costs associated with vibratory plowing along trail shoulders shall be calculated under Unit Price #8. xiii. Site restoration and clean up. NOTE: For quantities listed above as approximate, it shall be the Contractor’s responsibility to confirm all measurements to his/her satisfaction for the purpose of submitting a bid.
