Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Johnson County Park and Recreation District (JCPRD) is requesting sealed proposals from licensed, qualified, and experienced Contractors to provide Construction Manager as Constructor services for the Mid America West Sports Complex Improvements project. The project involves conversion of 12 softball fields from natural grass to synthetic playing field systems, replacement of sports field lighting, storm drainage systems, construction of new concession and restroom buildings, pavement, pedestrian lighting, new playground area, and parking lot improvements. The construction budget is estimated to be $15,000,000 which includes $2,500,000 for the synthetic turf purchase, by Owner. The project is phased with an anticipated construction start in August 2024 with project completion in July 2026. Phasing the project will allow portions of the project to remain in operation during construction operations. The approved master plan document is included with this RFP for reference.
