Specifications include, but are not limited to: A) Solicit input from the university Human Resources and the search committee chair through electronic or other means to understand the role, responsibilities, qualifications, and appropriate experience required for the position. B) Compile a revised job description for the position and a job announcement based on the input received from the university’s representative, staff, and the field. C) Develop a recruitment strategy, process, and timeline for completion of the work in consultation with the university and its search/selection committee. D) Work collaboratively with Human Resources to develop advertisements and determine the ideal qualities for candidates; E) Solicit candidates for the position through different channels, including through nationally recognized publications or venues as well as by reaching out to potential candidates who may not be seeking the position. F) Perform the initial assessment of the qualifications of interested candidates (per the revised job description) G) Provide support for the interviews, reference checking, and hiring process as requested by Human Resources. H) Advertise, source, vet and bring forth a qualified pool of candidates for review by the selection committee: i) Please note, services provided will not include work with the search committees unless requested. ii) The search committee will work directly with Human Resources and follow all university policies, regulations, procedures, and practices. iii) All records received by the contractor related to this solicitation and any impending contract(s) and acts of business on behalf of UA Little Rock including the collection of candidate information, shall be maintained by the contractor in accordance with university’s record retention schedules and policy. All records and reports either generated, prepared, assembled, or maintained by the contractor in relation to the solicitation services will be available for review, inspection, and audit by UA Little Rock and its auditors. Copies of such records and reports will be made available upon request and in conformity with the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act.
