Specifications include, but are not limited to: Demolition; Wetwell Rehabilitation; Mechanical and Structural Improvements 1. Temporary in-plant service water system, including flow meter to reimburse City for potable water costs (normal water usage and cost in Section 01 12 16). 2. Selective demolition of existing EPS structure, abandoned existing effluent pumping equipment, equipment to be replaced, and other structural, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation components associated with the existing EPS. 3. Installation of four (4) vertical turbine pumps with submerged weir intakes. 4. Installation of pump discharge piping, check valves, isolation valves, air release valves, pipe supports, slide gates, flow meters, and appurtenances. 5. Installation of pump testing loop. 6. Divider walls in wetwell, top cover slab over EPS wetwell, overflow weir modifications, and replacement of stairs/guardrails. 7. Painting and coating of components within the Basic Bid.
