Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The intent of this request is for Shelby County Government to Purchase HighDensity Shelving for the Criminal Court Clerk’s Office. The high-density mobile shelving system shall be installed at our Archive Storage building located at 591 Washington, Memphis, TN 38103. The high-density mobile shelving system shall have wheeled carriages which travel along fixed rails installed on the floor, creating movable aisles thus increasing storage density. The following specifications should include: 2. A minimum of 97” of fixed/moveable height (7 lateral shelves) per unit and meet building safety requirements. 3. At a minimum, the mobile shelving system must have: o Mechanical Assist with Safety/Floor Locks o Adjustable file dividers for each unit o Legal slotted/unslotted shelves o Index cardholders Minimum requirement specifications for each shelving unit: o Install a minimum of 32 shelving units to fill the square footage of the space. o Must be a minimum of 97” of fixed height with Deck Panels; 72"W x 48"D o Back-to-Back – Double rows o 48"W x 18"D SF Letter/Legal Slotted Shelf o 48"W x 30"D Slotted Shelf/unslotted shelf o 48"W x 15"D Unslotted Shelf/Slotted Shelf Scope: o The quote/bid must include receiving, delivery, and installation of the mobile shelving system. o The quote/bid must include installation on concrete flooring. Preparing any concrete for installation as needed. Removing any flooring that is not concrete. o Install polyurea or similar floor coating over existing concrete for durability* if needed. o The receiving, delivery, and installation must be done during regular business hours from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday excluding Shelby County Government Holidays. o The quote/bid must include the disassembling and destruction of the current mobile shelving units. o Bid must include estimated completion date. Please refer to the Award section, which adds details on full/partial proposals/awards. The Provider must be prepared to begin within 10 days upon receipt of the written Notice to Proceed.
