Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide underwriting services for the issuance of short – and/or long-term debt. Through this RFQ, the City will qualify firms for inclusion in the City’s underwriting pool. To this pool only, the City will issue future Requests for Proposals (RFP) for one firm or a syndicate of firms to assist the City in its debt underwriting needs for specific bond issuances at that time. The City’s selection of each underwriter will be based on the criteria for each specific RFP. The pool of approved underwriters will remain valid for a period of 3 years, with the option of 2 one-year renewals. Only those qualified into the pool may submit a proposal on future RFP for debt underwriting.
