Specifications include, but are not limited to: Bidder shall have substantial experience in the disciplines of mechanical, electrical, locksmithing and door security to be able to perform mechanical door repairs and preventive maintenance on various types of doors and gates. Repairs and service shall be performed on an as-need basis. All services shall be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Majority of the services will be required from 6:00AM until 9:30PM, Monday through Friday. Service Locations: Supplier shall perform service and repairs per the manufacturer’s guidelines on an as-needed basis at any District site located throughout Southern Nevada, including out-lying areas such as Laughlin, Mesquite, Moapa Valley, and Indian Springs, Overton, Jean, and Sandy Valley. Services performed at Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, and Boulder City locations shall not be subject to any mileage charges. Mileage charges shall be permitted, if identified, for services that are required beyond a 40 mile radius from the intersection of Rancho Blvd. and Sahara Ave. Bidder shall identify either a per mile charge or one-time flat rate, per event on Attachment A – Pricing Sheet where indicated for services performed at locations that exceed 40 miles from this intersection. Special Conditions - Continued Supplier shall bill only one option for the duration of the contract. New Unit Sales and Equipment: Bidder shall be able to replace sectional and coiling overhead doors, security grilles, automatic or manual gates, sliders, counter shutters, fire doors, operable walls and panels, and dock equipment. Makes and models vary. Bidder shall be a factory authorized dealer/installer for any equipment it provides. Bidder shall provide in its response the names of manufacturers that it is an authorized dealer/installer on Attachment D – Manufactures Equipment Authorized to Sell, Install, and Repair. Response Time: Supplier shall adhere to the following: Supplier shall respond to a request for service within twenty-four (24) hours within the metro area and forty-eight (48) hours outside of the metro area. The response time shall be measured from the time of receipt of the request from the District’s school or department via phone or email to the dispatch of the responder. Should the Supplier be unable to meet the specified response time, they shall notify the District at the time the initial request is made. The District reserves the right to contact another supplier if service is not provided within the specified response time.
