Bucket, nominal 2-yd3 SAE heaped capacity. b. Breakout force rating, minimum 8,500-pounds. c. Lift height to bucket hinge pin, minimum 11-feet d. Bucket clearance, at full height dumped at 45° , minimum 8-feet e. Bucket reach at full height, minimum 3-feet 2-inches. f. Digging depth bucket flat minimum 2-inches. Engine A. Four (4) cylinder, liquid cooled, 4-stroke diesel engine. Minimum displacement of 200 cubic inches. B. Minimum 4-cylinders displacing a minimum 3.3L, rated at a minimum 70 net horsepower at 200 lb/ft net torque at manufacturer’s rated RPM per SAE J1349. C. Engine block heater D. Air cleaner, dry element design. Dual filter (primary/secondary) elements. Air intake system must be equipped with an air filter restriction indicator, either has part of the standard engine monitoring system or a mechanical graduated type. E. Air intake system must be equipped with a self-cleaning, self-powered centrifugal air intake pre-cleaner. F. Radiator must be manufacturer’s largest capacity. Anti-freeze must test to -34°F. G. Engine oil filter must be a spin-on, disposable type. H. Regenerative charging system, 12-volts. Manufacturer’s optional high output alternator suitable for high load and/or winter operation. I. Battery(s) must be the largest CCA available. If higher CCA battery(s) are an option, they must be provided. Batteries suitable for winter operation as well. J. Engine must be approved for B20 biodiesel blends. Bidder must supply written documentation from the engine manufacturer showing explicit written support of B20 use with bid.
