Specifications include, but are not limited to: The successful Supplier will work in partnership with the University and will be expected to fulfill the following scope of services, including but not limited to the following: 1. Be able to provide staffing for full days of Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) or Perfusion, be on call, or both. 2. All extra corporeal circulation. Total body, partial support, and long term extracorporeal support including but not limited to: Monitoring and maintenance of EKG and hemodynamic Monitoring and maintenance of blood chemistry Maintenance of adequate anticoagulation Maintenance of adequate myocardial protection Administration of appropriate medications, blood products and anesthetic gases for patient stability on extracorporeal support Utilization of appropriate safety devices at all times. (i.e. level detector, bubble detector, high pressure alarm/shut off) Documentation and record keeping of activities 3. Intra-Aortic Ballon Pump (IABP) transport assistance to and from the Operation Room (OR). Set-up and monitoring in OR. 4. Pre-operative patient assessment to determine patient extracorporeal needs
