Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1 Required Product Quality a) The Sodium Silicofluoride to be supplied shall be highest quality and be suitable for use in the treatment of potable water. The Sodium Silicofluoride supplied shall have a minimum of 98 percent (98%), dry basis, Sodium Silicofluoride and the moisture content shall not exceed 0.5 percent by weight. The product shall meet or exceed the provisions of the American Water Works Association Standard for Sodium Silicofluoride (AWWA B702-06 and all subsequent revisions or corrections). Supplier attention is specifically directed to Section 2 of the Standard and its prescribed physical, chemical and purity requirements. b) The supplier must furnish an Affidavit of Compliance that each lot of Sodium Silicofluoride supplied conforms to all applicable requirements of AWWA Standard B702-06. The City reserves the right to request a Certified Analysis for any or all lots of Sodium Silicofluoride to be supplied to the City.
