Aquila Golf Course recently rebuilt their sand traps with sand supplied by West Coast Sand and Gravel. In order to maintain color and particle size consistency and color appearance any sand purchased for replacement needs to be purchased from the vendors’ gravel pit. Specifications for the sand are: I. Top Dressing Sand: 1. Tripe washed engine sand. Material supplied shall conform to the following ASTM. J. Crystal Silica Sand No. 20, 16, 30 (75 to 100LB bags) 1.
