CBJ intends to contract with the best apparent, responsive, and responsible Consultant who demonstrates that they can provide the most comprehensive and appropriate range of professional training services that align with the JPD’s requirements. JPD has ninety-seven (97) employees, with fifty-five (55) Sworn Officers and forty-two (42) Support Staff. Project Overview & Timeline : Consultants should be able to provide a maximum of 40 hours of Peer Support Training, that is customized to the specific needs and demographics of JPD. The training must be delivered by experienced mental health professionals with documented expertise in the fields of police psychology and first responder counseling. References are required. Consultant should provide three (3) or more subject matter experts (instructors) so a higher teacher to student ratio can be optimized. Trainers must be able to provide instruction that includes diversity of experiences, unique law enforcement understanding, an expert level of subject matter knowledge, using a variety of teaching styles.
