Specifications include, but are not limited to: General dentistry services shall include but not limited to dental exams, consults, x‐rays, general dentistry/restorative services including all preventative procedures, tooth extractions, surgical and non‐surgical root canal therapy, direct and indirect restorations, fixed and removable prosthetics/devices, dental implant restorations, deep scaling root planning, crown lengthening, biopsies, and pathology evaluations for the LbSSLC residents. Contractor shall: A. Contractor shall maintain, clean, and sterilize all dental equipment used during all services including all preventative maintenance. B. Contractor shall review annual exams, evaluations, consultations (phone or in person), and specificdental treatment(s) as needed. C. Contractor shall provide services as needed before and aftersurgery. D. Contractor and associated personnel shall enter findings, recommendations, and treatment summary onto a hard copy consultation generated by LbSSLC personnel and/or provide legible and signed clinical notes as requested by LbSSLC. E. Contractor shall clinically oversee the work of the Contractor’s ancillary personnel. F. Contractor shall interact with LbSSLC Medical Director, LbSSLC Clinical Dentist/Dental Hygienist/Dental Assistant in a cooperative manner and communicate accordingly. G. Contractor shall complete and file within seven (7) days all written or dictated reports, records or documentations on each resident being treated as required and/or requested by LbSSLC. Documentation will meet the standards of the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners and Lubbock State Supported Living Center.
