Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor will be responsible to remove snow from all areas designated within “snow removal” area, including, but not limited to parking area(s), roads and grounds, driveways, fire lanes, fire hydrants, parking lots. Service address is 2190 William Avenue, Montevideo, MN 56265. Snow removal will be in such a manner that there will be no loss of parking, roadways, or blockage of sidewalks or steps. Snow may be pushed, piled, and left on site; however, the locations must be approved in advance by the Facility Manager. No snow can be pushed up against fencing or structures. The agency’s staff will clear the sidewalks for the location. Response time: When snow accumulation has finished and reaches two (2) inches or more (as measured by the closest National Weather Service or local airport), the Contractor should perform this task unless otherwise directed by the Facility Manager in writing. All areas are to be clear and accessible (7 days a week) on the day of accumulation. No snow can be pushed up against fencing or structures. Contractor must be prepared to allow for time changes based on facilities needs.
